I love Nokia’s portable chargers. I’ve got the DC-16 and DC-19 – completely loving the latter as it’s compact, yet has enough juice to charge my Nokia Lumia 1520 from pretty much almost dead (3200mAh) and real quickly too!

New on the block is the “Microsoft Portable Power”. Similar in size but packing 6000mAh! These are also branded “Microsoft” :/ (Not because I miss “Nokia” but I just don’t like seeing “Microsoft” on things other than office and Windows. e.g. Xbox/Lumia. ) They’re obviously very Lumia with this bright colouring. They’re available in the new 2014 tic tac theme (white/green/orange).

As mentioned by Conversations, you can daisy chain the devices so you can charge the MPP and your Lumia at the same time (not sure what that would do to the battery health of the portable charger).

Thanks to the 1520, I rarely need to charge up with a portable charger from heavy use (even travelling cross country and watching several movies, the 1520 copes). But there are times when I’ve forgotten to charge the 1520 after almost two days and I’ve got no time to charge it before going to uni. I usually have a DC-19 in a bag so I can leave it charging on the go.

These keep a full charge for months, so makes for great emergency chargers that you forget about until you need them. After 6months, they’ll still have 80% of their power.

Expected at €39 EUR / $49 USD which is about 30GBP.
