Windows 10 Tech Preview, PC for now; not for phones yet for a number of months

There’s some reports on twitter that Joe Belfiore states the Windows 10 Tech Preview is specifically for x86 PC. ARM devices and phones are not due till ‘well into 2015’.

Right now tech preview is for x86 PCs. ARM devices and phones, not ’til well into 2015.

I can’t find that exact tweet but the closes’t that resembled it indicated the same thing: PC for now. They won’t even me ‘talking’ about this on phones for a ‘number of months’. We’re in October, so ‘ a number’ suggests more than two, heading into 2015. But ‘well into 2015’ sounds almost half way.

the Tech Preview program is aimed at PCs-only for quite awhile. We wont be talking about phones for a number of months…

It’s a shame we didn’t hear anything at the same time as the PC tech preview.
