It wasn’t always a guarantee that the successive Lumia (at least in the entry level range) would have the same combination of features/build expected to match the price. But with the Nokia Lumia 735, TheRegister reckons almost everything was done right this time.

They’re pretty pleased with the unibody-looking fabula design that first cropped up with the Nokia N9 appearing all over again here, BUT now you can access the back and MicroSD too.

Hardware wise, everything was pretty strong on this Lumia. They do miss the camera button though (yes, completely like the N9. No front buttons either).

Apparently, Denim and the auto hiding of the navigation bar might confuse new users.

Overall, TheRegister finds it’s hard to fault a phone that offers so much in an attractive package.  Though MS have marketed this as a selfie phone, they wish it branched out a bit more as it has a much broader appeal.
