It’s an age old question but obviously still something on people’s minds. What if Nokia had gone Android?

They try to reimagine what Nokia’s first Android would have been like, suggesting high end industrial design akin to the N9. There’s also a powerful camera history to add to their offering, as well as Music and Maps.

In the end, the reason many loved Nokia along with nostalgia for old phones was the ethos it stood for, hence why many wanted it to succeed, which for CNET made their decline harder to bear.

CNET concludes that whilst it may be tempting to think that Android could have saved Nokia, phone makers like Sony and Samsung are struggling to make money.
