Tom Warren tweets that Windows Mobile is back! Well sort of. It’s the internal name for the combined Windows RT/Windows Phone.

The next Windows 10 will be seen across all of Microsoft’s devices. Nothing has been said officially regarding the phone version.

Those in the know have been indicating for a while that RT (the hampered tablet version to run on ARM) will blend into WindowsPhone. Hopefully that means more actual features for WindowsPhone 10/Windows Mobile whatever.

What should it be called? When WindowsPhone first arrived, it was either called Windows Mobile or Windows 7 (subsequently Windows 8) by those who didn’t really know the product.
