Weekend Watch: Always Listening Cortana on Nokia Lumia 930 “Hey Cortana” with Lumia Denim.

I’m surprised there aren’t more videos of this in action since this is quite useful on paper.

Always listening Cortana means that the awesome voice assistant on WindowsPhone can be activated without you having to touch the phone or press any buttons from anywhere (including the Microsoft Band).

Just say, “Hey Cortana” and you can tell her your command.

At the moment there is a slight delay but at least it listens.

Everytime I want to raise my blood pressure and feel extra frustrated, I try to tell my Note 4 “Hey Google” just so it can happily ignore me.

Ok, another. Maybe the search terms just aren’t popping up…

Cortana’s “bleep” sound to acknowledge she’s listening is better than google’s implimentation. As soon as you hear that, you can say things.

Also, once she’s already listening on screen, she responds instantly.
