Nokia’s N1 for just China alone seems to be doing a pretty good job. The first batch of 20,000 units sold out in minutes and it seems the second batch has done the same (same number?).
It’s a great way to keep the Nokia brand out there; a tablet more powerful on paper than the iPad mini 3, similar aluminium premium design but at a significant fraction of the price.
Perhaps if the tablet becomes successful, Nokia will be more inclined to bring out their Nphone when the time comes.
