At E3, Microsoft built a pretty cool Halo 5 Hololens experience. They’ve built the inside of a UNSC ship and with Hololens, mixed digital with the physical reality.

As opposed to VR where you’re looking completely and only at a screen, Hololens superimposes objects into your real life surroundings. Your eyes have a direct line of sight with what is around you along with a digital blended image and the combination, at least according to those who have experienced it, is jaw dropping.

I wonder how it really looks in person. When we look at it, it’s via special cameras so it’s the cameras image with digital objects placed on top. But how about when your eyes see them directly. Are they more transparent?

How cool would Hololens laser tag be? I like that multiple people are looking at the same Hololens object. It makes it easier to share that experience. Are they all looking at it from different angles or are the labels rotated for each character so they can read it?
