Video: TechAltar asks – Nokia 6 Make Sense?

Away from the tech/nokia sphere, it’s good to see how Nokia is perceived. Sometimes it’s good to take a step back and see the forest for the trees.

TechAltar discusses a few of the things we and our readers have previously discussed, such as a possible missed opportunity given Nokia’s spectacular exit from the phone market and the much awaited comeback. But we already ‘wasted’ it sort of with the Nokia 150. And then ‘we’ (because fans are all so involved with Nokia we’re part of that team now :p) did it again with this limited mid range China only release.

If reports are to be believed, the pre-order numbers are doing really well.  It’s certainly a popular topic amongst phone tech sites such as GSM Arena and rumours about upcoming devices from Nokia are hotly anticipated.

If specs are anywhere near the Qualcomm Reference device with SD835 then that’ll be a phone worth considering (if we have more interesting designs along the way too). Price is a powerful convincer as it’s hard to say no to a phone that delivers well on price. I would hope that the Nokia promo video would bring something a bit less generic and that there is some sort of differentiating factor/feature in the flagship to be worth talking about. That Surface Studio could be used as learning points in terms of a promo video and having some sort of unique selling point.
