Name that Nokia: Analogue Nokia

Trevor shared this image he found on the back of a 1992 Newbury map. Without looking online, do you know which handset that is?

It advertises ‘The Mobile Phone Store’ but of course, around this time, the most prominent manufacturer was Nokia.

If you were to attend a class all about Nokia, that’s what this phone might be called :). It paved the way as the first commercially available GSM phone.

Funnily enough, this wouldn’t have the iconic Nokia tune as that wasn’t introduced until a couple of years after this was released.

Cheers Trevor for the tip!
