Nokia 3310 is reborn! #MWC @nokiamobile

| February 26, 2017 | 9 Replies

Today Nokia Mobile and HMD had a little bit of a “One More Thing” moment. Just as they were wrapping up and saying goodbye, they unleashed a wave of Nostalgia into the press room that definitely evoked some emotions.

The Nokia 3310 stands for a lot of what put Nokia ahead of the pack. Whilst Nokia is making small steps with HMD to try and regain lost footing, they haven’t lost that ambition as today, they reiterated aims to be once again, one of the top smartphone manufacturers, GLOBALLY.

Apologies for the downtime. There are definitely a lot of posts to catch up on. We’ve got a bit of content to post tonight as we stayed behind to play with some of the new devices (snap photos and whatnot). We couldn’t blog in the event room as the internet is expectedly mollusc speed. In the mean time we posted stuff on our facebook page.

Gosh, it looks so cute!

  • Nice to see the classic comeback, love that they slimmed it down a bit. Have fun Jay!

In so happy this site is up and running with familiar names, etc.
It is my go to place for things Nokia related.

I only read comments and posts for years, but in the passed few months, I’ve been leaving my own comments as well…
Trying to invigorate thoughts and engage other readers as well.
So happy to see a familiar name.

          Dental school right?

          • Nice to see you around, I do miss the community part of blogging the most.

Yep, dental school. The never ending story ๐Ÿ™‚

  • I’m eagerly waiting to see how the tech sites will put this thing under test. It will be dropped, thrown, hammered, driven over by a car, driven over by a train, shot, frozen, burnt, first frozen and then burnt, and so on.
If – in those tests – it has even most of the durability of the Nokia 3310, this phone will be the best marketing move I’ve seen for quite some time.

Most of the people were eager to see release of high end phone.. But never said so to release such phone right, only rumours.

Very disappointed with this new design. Nokia was a total flop show this MWC.

Here’s to hoping atkeast by next MWC they’ll be better.
