Gallery: Nokia 5 – Full metal, Affordable Luxury

| February 27, 2017 | 7 Replies

Just like the Nokia 3, the Nokia 5 aims to bring a premium feel without the premium price tag.

Now the Nokia 3 was already surprisingly flagship in terms of the feel in the hand. The Nokia 5, at 189EUR is an all metal affair and brings even more of the surprise luxury (I felt that the Nokia 3 was verging on 925 premium territory when that first came out).

It’s all completely metal, with the antennas hidden above and below.

Slight gloss of the screen edges

The way the antenna sits at the top and bottom hides the antenna bands, but I’m not quite sure I like the look entirely.

The Nokia 5 tag was “Perfectly Balanced”

The Nokia specific camera UI for Android. Camera here is better as you’d expect, than the Nokia 3.

Some of the other colour options…

That’s the physical side of the Nokia 5. The rest of course is a Pure Android experience.

    where to buy?

    • 2 months more till it comes to the retailer near you πŸ™‚

  • I would say… Nokia 3 is a more beautiful looking device compared to Nokia 5 and Nokia 6. The white one looks so nice. “Nokia Lumia 925” esque, as you mentioned in the post πŸ™‚ i wish Nokia 5 had polycarbonate back as well πŸ™‚ Global variant of Nokia 6 has 3 gb ram πŸ™ more money for extra 1 gb ram.:(
    This is unfair. πŸ˜›
    Chinese are so lucky lol

  • Just go to Nokia Mobile YouTube channel and then go to Videos.
There is one video says Unite – Coming Soon in 2017. I think they are planning something for Flaghship and calling all past Nokia mobile owners to unite again.
I might be wrong but its Okay to keep imagining πŸ˜›

Jay, you’ve seen those phones in person – is the copper color more pink-ish or more orange-y?
The official promo images make it out to be closer to the “rose gold” options on other phones, but on all the hands-on photos I’ve seen it looks orange. What gives?

LN agree the 3 is best and the most original design wise; the 5& 6 resemble the G4+ .

The global 6 has only 3 GB RAM?
