Video: Nokia N8 and Wacom Bamboo graphics tablet over USB OTG.
The Nokia N8’s USB on the Go feature was generally designed for external storage transfers – USB memory sticks/some external HDDs. But every now and again there’s unconvential use of other USB peripherals such as Mice, keyboards and even barcode readers.
schawlaf demoes the N8 connected to Bamboo – no, not the vegetation, but one of Wacom’s USB graphics tablets. I’m guessing the video is in urdu based on the urdu.senseapplied watermark. Not sure if there’s anything of key importance being mentioned. You can see however is that the tablet works fine with the N8. (What is that sketch app?)
Not sure there is a good enough drawing app that could take advantage of a graphics tablet. Heck I don’t really sketch on the N8 like I did with N900. That stylus and super accurate resistive screen did have its advantage. Though producing a decent enough paint app that has very simple zooming features could aid the ability to sketch on a small screen.
