Red Nokia N8 coming, suggests Nokia N8 accessory. Approved by Nokia fans.

On Tuesday, Nokia Conversations asked you guys what new colour you’d like the Nokia N8 to be. We also asked readers here.

The majority voted for RED. Both polls coming out at 35% majority. The next largest being “other” (a mix of excellent ideas including camo, white, white with blue racing stripes, or clear gorilla glass). Purple was the third (though clearly the next preferred after red).

Devin from the Nokia Guide has seen some accessories for the Nokia N8 which indicates a red Nokia N8 is coming.

There are some hard covers (Nokia CC-3013) available for the Nokia N8. Available in all standard Nokia N8 colours (except black).

This includes BLUE, GREEN ORANGE and SILVER. But there are 5 cases. The 5th – is RED.

Hot, spicy, sexy red?

A bit of a blurb on the “colour meaning” of red, if you believe in such things.

Red is associated with fiery heat and warmth. It can also mean danger (burning).

Red is the color of blood, and as such has strong symbolism as life and vitality. It brings focus to the essence of life and living with emphasis on survival. Red is also the color of passion and lust.

So there’s red and there’s a million shades of red.

My N8 is currently sporting a red silicone cover. Pictured also on the 5th. Not as nice as having it direct on the metal.
