Nokia N950 sample photos – Devs and their 12mp MeeGo-Harmattan phones.
The Nokia N950 was first seen with a 12MP camera in the leaked teaser. However, upon launch of the 8MP N9 the developer N950 was said to simply “produce similar quality” images. Nothing noting the precise MP and images of some N950 did not have any branding on the camera.
The teardown revealed 12mp, only the second 12mp camera after the N8. Do you reckon all N950s would be produced with 12mp or just a small batch? Camera isn’t exactly a developer’s top priority, the reason they’d want N950 is to make/modify software for MeeGo/Qt. But they’d still appreciate a camera in their phone that takes decent images.
Mark Guim has noticed some image samples appear online. I can’t find any full 12mp yet, these ones seem to be stuck on 7MP and even 5MP (Flickr says they’re the original file size)
N950 will most likely not get the same attention from Nokia Conversations regarding the camera, so don’t expect any articles or official photo samples as this handset isn’t on sale and isn’t for consumers.
