Salo Factory in Finland closing in September

YLE reports that the Salo factory in Finland was shut down on Friday and will close permanently in Autumn (September).

The last phone built there was made on Wednesday.
This is part of Nokia’s cost cutting measures, which means phones can be built more quickly and efficiently hopefully meaning Nokia can adapt better to the constantly changing markets.
