By December 2012, a 60 staff office of the Qt Development Team in Brisbane is said to close (though the article also mentions August 31st).

Lorn Potter, Senior Software Engineer at Nokia’s Brisbane office explains that the move to WP no longer requires Qt.

Lack of a Qt future at Nokia doesn’t mean the end of Qt, as it is widely used outside of mobile on Windows desktops, apps by Google, Samsung and Skype.

Upcoming MeeGo lookalike, BB10 is also using Qt.
