Step aside fingerprint scanners, Microsoft Cityman leaprogs to Iris scanning
According to @evleaks, the Microsoft Cityman (rumoured to have a fingerprint scanner) leapfrogs way past that and goes for iris scanning.
The benefit of either is really in ease of use, reliability of use and security. The first time Apple showed their version off, it wasn’t exactly the best implementation – with some reports of it being easily bypassed. Though simply pressing on it and not swiping (like on note 4) is much better.
Microsoft Cityman skips fingerprint reader, leapfrogs right to iris scanner.

Here’s fujitsu’s concept. Supposedly more secure and faster than fingerprints.
Hopefully set up doesn’t take this long.
Confirmation is really fast. When clicking unlock it knows to unlock. But what’s the point if I have to press a button anyway to activate it? I might as well press a fingerprint button (placed on the side – e.g. Z4). Hopefully can’t be bypassed by a photo. It’s not just image confirmation but also infrared so it hopefully works out other parameters to ensure genuine eyes.
Having both might be cool – fingerprint on the side where the lock button is and then iris at the front. That’s super secure.
Cheers Alvester for the tip!
