This week we reported on Steve Litchfield’s famous Phones show 100th show anniversary, feedback on the N900’s new v2.2009.51-1 firmware and a couple of video app demos showing how to upload photos/videos from the N900 and how improve its battery life. Engadget also published their long awaited N900 review, hailing the Maemo 5 browser as glorious.

But the big news this week was with Ovi.

Nokia pulled a game changer with the announcement that turn-by-turn navigation would be free on Ovi Maps. Hitler wasn’t too happy about that. (Thanks all for the tweets and blogposts on that video ^_^ I was checking out some youtube vids this afternoon and saw it on the Science and Tech most viewed)

You may have also noticed that from now on, longer posts will have “Click to continue reading” links so MyNokiaBlog.com will load faster and will reduce crashing on mobile browsers when we have multiple feature/image heavy posts.
