fMMS 1.0.0 for N900 released

I’m sure a lot of you have seen my video walkthrough’s (April 2010 & January 2010) for the previous versions of fMMS, well today frals (developers of fMMS) has released version 1.0.0 which also gives reason to graduate it from extra’s development to extra’s testing (will be done soon – currently still in devel).

With the latest version, if you use the application is “Havoc” mode, you do not need to install any additional software like in previous versions where fAPN was required. Now just install and enter the settings into the fMMS application directly! For a quick guide, see the screenshots below:

New fMMS update to version 1.0.0

Installation size (This is for update, new installation may be more)

Update details (Currently in the Extras-Devel Catalogue but will be moving to testing soon)

Select configuration to change settings (when you first start it, this will load up automatically)

Enter your mobile number including the country code
(i.e. +44 in the UK & remove the first 0, for example 07123456789 becomes +447123456789)

Use your own settings above, I am on o2 UK (postpay)

The above is the advanced configuration options which you should not need to touch

Enter recipients number or select contact using the “To” button (currently to only one per MMS)
