MyNokiaBlog.com on Engadget!

| September 4, 2010 | Reply

My stay in the Philippines is almost over. I’ll be in Sunny, sunny Wales on Tuesday (then London for Nokia World, then Manchester for another round of Uni). Anywhoo, whilst being here, I haven’t been able to blog as much but the awesome MNB team and our readers with your amazing tips have kept the MyNokiaBlog.com going.

Just read a tweet from @SimonLR that we were on engadget. Lo and behold, doubting Simon, there we were. Thanks to Jim for submitting us a tip (you can do so at tips@mynokiablog.com or at mynokiablog.com/tips/ :D ) that post about MeeGo screenshots subsequently hit of all places, Engadget. Yay!

Hmm…I haven’t even finished packing and will be going Tomorrow (Monday, Philippine time).

Oh in case you haven’t heard (no time to make a separate post sorry), Mr James Burland of Nokia Creative has relaunched his photo awards – from the infamous N95 to now the digicam killer that is the Nokia N8. Mr B, whilst a mac fan is also a connoisseur of Mobile Art, particularly of Nokia’s attempts, through photography or video.

    Engadget? Seriously?
They are the most Nokia haters ever… I do not know if you should be happy.
And Chris, he is a jackass without credibility… He is to Nokia what the inquisition was for Spain or Hitler for mustaches.

    • mj

hey Mrw00t are you MrWoot from Engadget?

      • mj

        As C. Ziegler said..

What “C” stands for is anyone’s guess…..Of course, it could also stand for “crap,” ;)

      • Mrw00t

Yep… I try to keep them straight :P

Yes, I agree, Chris is kinda myopic, in the annoying red neck type of way. Love the new podcasts with tnkgrl, where I can just hear him gnash his teeth when myriam says some cool stuff about Nokia. He is such a little fangirl.

Now, back to mynokiablog. Why the hell were there no posts for days! Unacceptable. With great power, comes great responsibility, and you cannot leave us followers hanging in the dark like that.

    Mkay?
    :)

Engadget really went out of their way to pick the lease interesting screenshot of meego too , i mean for a android post i am sure they would have put up all of shots.

Those media are tools controlled by wall street. Wall street needs to pop up their own names such as Apple and Google for their own dirty interests. The recent woe of Nokia stock share price is resulted from all this kind of propagand conduct. Now they start putting agenda on RIMM.

Unfortunately their power of brainwashing people is reined only in North America territory and in north America there are still people like Andre from mynokiablog :).

      • GordonH

Maybe American media wants to promote American products.
Also, Nokia’s blunders in the past 3 years has helped Apple and Google pickup alot of steam.

I am amazed how comes apple spams sales ad to my email. Recently I received email from Apple many times. I have never registered to apple’s service or support at all as I am not interested. Does anybody else here have similar experiences? Does apple buy the mail addresses from some registered service that secretly sells contact info? I believe so.

I don’t like the low taste way Apple promotes its products. The way Apple uses its home page to sells it new products gives me very very bad impression. It does not fit the image of high tech firm. The way Apple conducts its business is dangerous.

    Sorry for this off-topic message.
