Video: Painting Walls with the Nokia N8

At Nokia World 2010 there was something very interesting going on outside the experience lounge.

A Paint Wall was made by Grayworld but instead of paint, we have pixels of LED light which together spanned the 6 x 2.5 metre high interactive. You can fill your paint tin with ePaint using a photo of yourself which you can throw at the wall or use the Nokia N8 and the Paint Wall application and blow paint onto the wall.

There’s some infrared sensors involved to detect the precise location of the N8 and unless you have that ALONG with an LED wall paint, I’m not really sure what you can do with the Pain Wall App. Then again, like last year with the OneDotZero Identity N900 powered projection, you probably didn’t have the equipment to utilise the app – but it’s something cool that inspired people to see what they could do with the N900 and hopefully now with N8/Symbian/Qt.
