Rumours: Nokia Windows Phones coming 2011 – exclusive Nokia only features coming 2012
According to smarthouse.com.au:
- Nokia Windows Phone are coming 2011
- Nokia Windows Phones with exclusive features are coming 2012
…an expanded version of the OS is set to be shown on new Nokia models which will be revealed in February 2012 at the World Mobile Congress in Barcelona.
The OSÂ will include “several new software upgrades, exclusive functions for Nokia phones and software that will not be available for other manufacturers who licence the OS” the European Nokia sources said.
OK, I don’t know where they got this information from.
What exclusive features are you expecting in Nokia’s Windows Phone? Camera Capabilities? Some of Symbian’s core abilities? Should Nokia’s first Windows Phone be awesome without compromise or do they just need a Windows Phone device out now? I’ve always wanted Nokia to come out with a bang with MeeGo phone, saying it had to be phenomenal otherwise it’s a fail. In the process of perfection, delays set in and now MeeGo is nothing but an experiment.
