$10,000 Prize with Nokia Shorts 2011 from Nokia and Vimeo.

Nokia and Vimeo has got together to produce “Nokia Shorts 2011”. There’s a $10,000 (USD) prize up for grabs if you win! Just send in your ideas in around 100 Words. 8 people’s ideas will be picked, each given $5000 and two Nokia N8s to film their masterpiece. The winner gets $10,000 at Edinburgh International Film Festival!

All you need to do is create a video pitch of an idea for a short film or video, in no longer than two minutes. Videos should be accompanied with a 100 word description and submitted to Nokia’s Vimeo channel, be as creative as you like!

All submissions will be judged by Shorts and the best 8 entries will be selected to receive $5,000 to produce the full version on two, Nokia N8’s. The best of the final 8 will be given $10,000!

What’s Your Idea?

1. Pitch

Pitch us a great concept. Put up an innovative idea, a unique approach, or unusual angle: in short, something new. The jury waits to be wowed.

 

2. Shoot

If your pitch gets picked, we’ll help get your movie made. Eight filmmakers will shoot their short with a $5,000 production budget and 2 Nokia N8s.

 

3. Win

All films will premiere at Edinburgh International Film Festival with the Nokia Shorts 2011 Jury Prize & $10,000 cash going to the best mobile motion picture.

What’s your idea?

Show us why you should win. Pitch your idea by submitting your video starting on March 24 until April 17th 2011, keeping your clip to under two minutes and elaborate with up to 100 words of text. Good luck!
