It’s April 12! – Nokia, Symbian – What’s coming today?
It’s already April 12!
Last week, we expected a Symbian event coming April 12. Then supposedly Nokia spokespeople updated the media that NO there isn’t an actual event. Announcement however were still coming.
On Sunday, we noticed that Nokia accidentally uploaded the Nokia X7 and Nokia E6 videos to their YouTube channel (in private setting now. They should really be uploaded on the day and have the titles changed later if they’re uploading in advance. Better yet, upload on the day, midnight. Can get more youtube views that way). Later in the afternoon the same day, Three accidentally published their X7 preview video, with X7 coming soon to three.
This suggests that on top of the possible “Summer update” announcement (new firmware?), we’ll also see the Nokia X7 and the Nokia E6 today. And may be some other things. This may be what the WOMWorld and Nokia folks will be chatting about during lunch with Nokia-Online personalities – little hands on maybe. Sadly I’m unable to go. Supervising house renovations – joy.
