Stephen Elop caught using Nokia Windows Phone Concept Device?

The render above was leaked on February 11th at Engadget, but was soon seen officially at Nokia Conversations.

Jo Harlow acknowledged the leaked images, presented a higher res one and noted that these are what Nokia’s working on. Today Timo Raikonen was apparently sat next to Stephen Elop during a hockey match. Not heard of Timo before but he’s apparently, “Managing Director @ TradeDoubler Finland. TradeDoubler is Europe’s number 1 digital performance marketing specialist.”

On top of being next to Elop, Timo apparently got a glimpse of a Nokia handset…with Windows Phone.

This hasn’t been seen live at all. And it seems it still won’t be for a while as Timo didn’t take pictures

“Unfortunately the moment came too quickly, and it wouldn’t have been appropriate to shoot.”

He did mention that it looks like the first image in this post.

“The device looked quite the same as in the photos they used in the launch event http://ht.ly/4BKQg”

What with the heightened security at Nokia, it’s a bit odd that the CEO would be whipping an unreleased, “concept device” in public. Unless it’s much nearer to the final product?

The second Windows Phone design in below. Are these the possible W7 and W8? The slimness frightens me as slim for Nokia = EDoF 🙁 I don’t think WP7 state minimum camera spec to have autofocus.
