Thank goodness Nokia are showing it off some more. The world needs awareness about the amazingness of Ovi Maps, especially the new 3D cities. We want more cities please! If possible, bring it to your phones!
Just look at the panning around Ovi Maps 3D. It looks like they’re flying over it (until it does a very unnatural rotation manoeuvre).
IDEA: Adverts where you’re flying over the city and kids are chatting/people are mumbling, like as if they’re in a plane and then it pans out…oh they’re in some computer room/office/location with a pc browsing Ovi Maps 3D.
Or other situations where you think this is all real and then bam. OVI MAPS 3D for ya!

IMHO it is, in what way does it help them sell stuff? In no way at all since it’s a free web based thing. Only through ads would they make money back.
But in no way does it justify a full blown television ad.

Yup, nice. I just wish they would do what e.g. Apple does and remove those little lags/hick ups in the 3D bits.. its a promo video after all! Stop being so honest, Nokia.

The only thing I can think of being worse than what Nokia have done is if MS ditched WinPho and Nokia gave them Symbian for MS to ‘improve’ (i.e. totally ruin) Symbian.
