Ideas: Swipe up grid multitasking for Symbian Belle?

Here’s an idea @KobusNell tweeted to us. Grid view multitasking for Symbian.

I’ve been begging for something like this since playing about with Multitasking on Maemo 5/N900.

Like the drop down notifications in Belle, Kobus Nell suggests this could possibly appear by pulling the bottom navibar up – so a gesture/movement based activation like the N9. In this view of 2×3 you have immediate view of 6 open apps. Scroll down to see other open apps. Not one app in view and a bit of another two.

I’m not as optimistic as I used to be in terms of what user ideas Symbian can incorporate now but it’s always good to keep ideas coming (at least it shows interest in the platform).
