Video: Intel App Elements keynote, Tizen and HTML5. -_-

Here’s a 26 minute video explaining Tizen. Tizen is Intel’s next attempt at making smartphone use intel chips, not really about making a better OS. You’ll hear the same fairytales they spun for MeeGo. Now hear it all over again for Tizen.

Tizen is the new internet-speak for, “who cares”.

Person 1: New iPhone on October 4

Person 2: Tizen -_- *shrugs*

Every time I hear about Tizen, I get annoyed at where Maemo went. Perhaps Intel will screw Samsung too and also fail to deliver mobile chips and get uninterested in Tizen should Samsung want it to run on ARM. Would be cool if one of the Tizen partners actually manage to ship a real Tizen product before it gets folded into something else yet again.
