New leaked Symbian Belle for Nokia N8 (111.030.06.07)
For those with leaked Symbian Belle on their Nokia N8′s, apparently there is a new version. The last version we posted here was 111-020-0203. This is 111.030.06.07. Taylor writes that, “Java fixed and EQ fixed”
I’m a wait-for-official-update guy and unless you know what you’re doing, I would recommend waiting for the official Belle too. Otherwise, if you know all the risks and know how to flash *cough*phoenix*cough* this to your N8, then head on over to:
If you wait a day or two you might hear the reactions from the users. It might be worth it as sometimes these things can brick your phone or put more bugs in.

Doesn’t seem like much of a change, wont do it considering I have no Java apps in the first place. Plus I wont flash till I find out how to backup whatsapp messages.. anyone know??

I could use xplore as I have it installed but wouldn’t know where to check.

via ovi/nokia suite or search in blogs for the app to download and install it again if you need

I am also in wait-for-the-official Belle line, but was also thinking if the most recent Belle came I could giving it a try. If it comes around end of the year, its still 45 days, which could go by very fast.
I guess now I will keep an eye on the feedback about it and in a week if no official date came, will go for it.
does anyone know skype work fully on bella?
I have the previous leak and Skype didn’t work for me-crashes at account sign in. 95% of stuff does though, but one other app that i had hoped would work and had issues with is Big Screen. I can run java apps though on the previous version (111.020.0203.00.01) so I can’t belive they are the only changes. Actually, i ran the Vyke java client as a substitute for skype and that works. (I signed up for Vyke when nokia offered it integrated into S60 3rd edition, but i think it’s only recently they made a java version that works on symbian 3 devices availaible).
There was a site giving customized versions of the previous leaks of belle, which may have ended up with a few more working things, maybe they found a fix for skype.

I’ve been running the leaked belle for about a month now and don’t think I can go back to Anna!! The version I have is completely fine! I don’t particularly use skype on the N8 so not really missing that! (the S^3 skype interface was just plain ugly so use only on the ipod touch or pc)
I have belle with different look. It’s work fine without any problem. Just the battery I don’t know because it’s stay for one day. I dont know if symbain belle made or not.
been wondering when a new version might leak. waiting for CFW.

i alredy use symbian leak 111.020.0203..n battheri the anna..i love belle..an i d’ont have problem in this leak belle…n i am so heppy new leak symbian belle came out…i flesh this new version to my n8..becoz i alredy gifup to wait…iam from malaysia..
does anyone know if it is possible to update to Anna ota?i have a UK unlocked carphone warehouse n8 and it Will only let me update if i connect to pc.every other update i have ever done has been ota.help!

my 701 it runs allready 111.20.0307 some jave programs i have works ok
skype intalled fine but fails to load
here my 701 with belle multitasking 33 apps with all heavy programs running in background such video player,picture gallery,media player,quick office,internet radio,game etc

My lumia 800 can also do that….but it takes 1 hour to resume all those 30 background running apps

To my knowledge, there were still some people who still don’t get official Anna. There its no way official Belle will be out this year.
I’ve been using 2nd leaked Belle for quite a while and it’s superb. A totally different symbian experience. If you know what you are doing just flash your phone. As long as your phone hardware is good, you can always get a firmware back on it and use it. I’ve bricked my phone like 10 times already.
that’s right. Killing a symbian^3 phone is almost impossible. Go ahead and flash your pones! Dont be afraid!
how can i flash the belle on the latest anna firmware ,all the tutotial in the web is 22.14 i want to know on how on 25.007 any one can help me?

is Joikuspot working? and how’s the image quality of the camera? i seem to recall ppl saying the PQ degraded after applying the leak?

@ hosny santos – Keep dreamin’. I’ll be very-very surprised if this feature ever comes to any symbian^3 device. Boy, do I hope I’m wrong here, doubt though.
i have installed rompatcher n set some patches to auto….bt when i restart it….they do not work….in rom patcher they are off…..sry 4 d bad eng.,

my angrybirds lags a little guess dats GPU issue, i pray they correct it like they did on Anna

I have installed this Belle release on to my N8 and like the comments above I bricked it on the initial attempt, but once flashed from dead flash mode it installed fine and worked a treat, and I have to say already even as it is it works a million times better than Anna!!! If you are pretty clued up on flashing I would highly recommend installing this over Anna, but it goes without saying, flashing is at your own risk, but in my opinion it was worth the risk, as Anna was starting to drive me up the wall with its flaws and nokia are simply taking the p**s with their updates lately, but if this is anything to go by the official belle release should be pretty good, and it will do wonders for the N8.
