Nokia RM-813 (Nokia 302) passes FCC
KF tipped this in at the start of the week but I seem to have missed it so thanks Neil for the reminder.
Something called the Nokia RM-813 or Nokia 302 has passed fcc.
I think it’s pretty interesting it’s lumbered with a hefty 1320mAh battery for a 3xx series. That’s the Nokia BL-5J along with AC-11E charger and WH-10 headset.
Here are the tested bands:
GSM850/900/1800/1900/GPRS/EGPRS/Monopole without GND reflector (GSM/WCDMA)
WCDMA I/II(1900)/V(850)/VIII/HSDPA/HSUPA/Monopole without GND reflector (GSM/WCDMA)
WLAN/Bluetooth

What’s more interesting here is that Nokia has managed to include both 3G and WiFi on a lowend device. I’m sure this won’t be a Touch and Type.
Why not? Nokia 303 has 3G and WLAN, and it’s a Touch and Type S40 phone.
Both the X3-02 and C3-01, which were the first Touch and Type devices announced more than a year ago, have WLAN and 3G… The new versions (RM-775 and RM-776, respectively) of those phones also have the 1 GHz processor and 128 MB of memory just like the Asha 300 and 303.
I always imagined a Touch & Type that was full touch, but with a screen around 2.8″
Touch and Type refers to a phone with both a keyboard and a touch screen though.
303 has a 1300mAh batttery (BP-3L).
302 must be have the internals of the 303 with a different form-factor (Normal keypad??).
s40 i guess… Who wanna buy it after tasting symbian belle
Windows under $100 usd version. Able to use the 3month for $22 usd mobile talk plan with $15 usd a month data plan…my guess. 1st quarter is U.S. release time for Nokia with U.S. carriers. This is the 1st step from cellphones for a lot of people.
then again, I could be all wrong.
Interesting! I would like a 303 with normal keyboard! Let’s hope 302 is something like that!
Not a normal candybar but a slider. The proportions are wrong for a traditional candybar, but about match those of the C2-02 (2.6″ screen slider). Let’s hope it has a capacitative screen, and thankfully they will probably use the same capacitative screen as on the 303.

hopefully it has VOIP like 303 has.
