Nokia Lumia 900 expected on AT&T and Verizon

WMPoweruser reported yesterday of rumours that the Nokia Ace is coming next year to BOTH Verizon and AT&T. These two major American networks were already rumoured to be announcing Nokia Lumia experiences – though whether that would be with the Lumia 800 or a much needed high end device was not known.

Nokia have proved that they can provide the best overall hardware and software experience for the Windows Phone ecosytem (for the masses) with the Lumia 800. Let’s hope for more of the same and better in the Lumia 900/Ace.

When? Well given the specs of the Ace, we need more than that for 2012, so as early as possible the better. Any later and the only way to compete is if the Ace can knock down whatever its competitors are bringing.

There are rumours that the N8 successor is coming next year, confirmed by one Nokia person in video. We also saw some Lumia/N9 like casings with a big cut out for a camera. I bet complaints  for “uniqueness in design” will be few if Symbian were to also carry the same styling as N9/Lumia 800. It would of course be highly necessary for Nokia to put something on par at least with the camera in the N8 in their Windows Phone devices, otherwise it’s a waste. HTC – who last year’s cameras was as good as a pin hole camera made by a 4 year old, is already reported to ‘outperform’ the 800 by their Titan. Whether that’s the case or not, there shouldn’t ever be any hesitation what so ever that the Nokia is supreme in imaging. Oh PLEASE put Xenon flash into it? Whenever I go on a night out, I always have to carry the N8. The pictures it produces look awesome, especially considering it’s from a phone (though you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference. I’d say it produces better pics than the point and shoots my friends are using.)

Cheers mrprince for the tip!
