Nokia Lumia 710, free limo rides with Nokia Drive Navigation

| January 13, 2012 | 6 Replies

I had something like this planned but not as elaborate. Nokia gave some people in Las Vegas a free limo ride. However, this is on the condition that:

1) They use Nokia Drive on the Nokia Lumia 710

2) They are NOT allowed to tell the driver where they are going (so he can’t just go there based on his knowledge.)

I think we could expand this by bringing people from one state to another or one city to another that they are not familiar with and let them drive themselves, just with a Nokia Lumia.

Cheers DM for the tip!

Finally lumia is in states :) . I live in US and i am big fan of Nokia (and still symbian :) ) . I hope Nokia does well here

Well if they would drive instead of just playing with the phone and tell the driver where to go. The whole point of introduce the Nokia navigation to people would not be as fun and successful.

This is really good idea from someone at Nokia.

Haha, that was a pretty cool idea

What a great way to introduce people to Nokia Drive. Hopefully, they were able to give many more people free limo rides – Word of mouth :)

    Nokia FTW!

Nokia needs to do more promo in Europe. I’m visiting The Netherlands right now and my friends here straight out say: I’m not going back to Nokia. I have to explain to them that it’s a whole new OS unlike the old Nokias they had in the past. Everyone is bored with iPhones but it’s the only option right now since Blackberry sucks and Android is a laggy peace of crap.
