Rumours: Nokia X7-like Nokia Lumia 805? (12mp?)
Aikon171 tipped in this image of possibly a Nokia X7 looking device but with Windows Phone.
It might be fake. I can’t really grasp the screen ratio from here but as you know being WP it has to have 800×480.
They’ve named it Nokia Lumia 805. The extra 5 perhaps due to the bigger screen. When introduced, the X7 was a bit of a ‘meh’ device, (made worse by the fact it was priced not that much less than the SGSII at the time). It does look better with Belle however than it ever did with Anna.
The camera at the back better not be EDoF, like the original. Looks kinda nice to me.
The original poster reckons the specs are as follows (just passed through google translate)
- 3.9-inch WVGA-the Clear Black AMOLED
- 16GB flash memory
- 1450 mAh battery, and Lumia 800
- 12 million pixel Carl Zeiss auto focus, dual LED
If it is 12MP, then this image might just be there for illustration purposes as the back of the camera (blurry as it is) looks more like it says 8MP. Not sure I like the sound of 1450mAh for 3.9″ Lumia.

Yes please. The X7 may look shit on photographs, but I was in a Nokia store and had the chance to hold it in my hands. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the phone looks in IRL.
Please oh please! I love the way the X7 looks (cold, dark & technified like Acura interiors). I never bought 1 bc I got an N8 just before it came out … this could be my next phone (the new Symbian w/ 1ghz processor would be better tho).
The front is great, the back… just doesn’t match (although I’m sure it feels good in the hand).

This one, I’d get. However, I looked closely and I noticed that in the first picture, the front-facing device has an X7 branding written on the top-left corner of the device.
Well this device is sexy, I bet majority wouldn’t mind Nokia to reproduce it with WP built in

now we are talkin. X7 has an amazing design. It was Let down by Nokia itself by leavin out some very important features n pricing it equal to N8. But windows might breathe in some fresh air into this design.
Its still not for me. Not until it comes wit all the shortcomings pressed out n definitely need a 16:9 ratio. I love that ratio.
Yup, you’re right, it does look a lot fresher with WP for some reason.
As for 16:9…well as long as the width is big enough, otherwise it’s too narrow (and then if it’s wide enough, it might be too long). IDK. I don’t care about length myself, I think I’ve considered using a device as large as the Galaxy Note as a phone :S ha

Actually i guess i’ve gotten used to this Aspect Ratio. I’m a media professional and most of my Photographs and Video material is always shot in 16:9. Therefore the preference. Also when watching Films on the device 16:9 looks super cool, and effective.
Hoping that the N8 successor definitely comes with this ratio.

what a dumb OS Windows phone should be man. No 16:9 support? Wish Nokia din go this way but i surely hope that Nokia Will own n Will make WP hit. I just hope the N8 successor to be a brilliant device. I’m gettin it for sure if some great genius inside Nokia decides not to screw up.
X7 looks really nice in hand but that device above is definitely fake.

Nokia should’ve choose E7 for lumia series of course without keyboard. It would’ve much better design…
the nokia x7 is one of the sleekest phones on the market. Symbian and edof ruin it for me though. I hope this is real

It does not seem to be a Carl Zeiss camera system, a definite no for me, although I have always liked the X7 looks.
Obviously fake, but if they want to continue recycling designs, use the N950′s. It’s sleek, beautiful, has a keyboard AND a real 12MP camera…
when r we gonna get actual leaks, its 10 days to MWC, come on somebody leak the 808 pureview or whatever it will be called

Nokia recycling phone designs again. I’m guessing the phones they are recycling didn’t do so well with Symbian..
These phones would have been awesome if launched a year earlier.
It was annoying that during the Anna/X7 launch, folks unfamiliar to Nokia (other tech blogs/youtube) thought this was Nokia’s new high end device, looked at the specs and price and laughed at the notion something like this was supposed to compete with the SGS2.
If this thing was on Maemo 5 it would have been rather awesome. I really don’t understand why Nokia didn’t release another maemo 5 phone, a slimmer one, just candybar. Maemo 5 was leaps and bounds in usability compared to other Nokia offerings.
I Seriously wish, they make use of this Design on some other platform. I truly wish.
Love this design. The first time i held this device in my hands i knew that it was designed with so much love and passion. Hope they don’t waste this.
