Weekend Rumours: Nokia PureView 808 Dual Core? #N8Successor

I wouldn’t normally post this because I don’t know how reliable the source is so take it quite lightly.

Apparently the Nokia 808 PureView might have Dual Core according to a tipster on nokiapoweruser. It would be very interesting to see how Symbian performs with even more power under the hood, given how optimized it is on Belle and 1GHz. Some say the 808 won’t be able to do the rumoured 1080p without dualcore, though others disagree and reckon it could be undertaken by the GPU.  You might have seen some supposed video samples on upcoming Nokia devices. I haven’t posted them as we can’t verify what device they came from (the first time a user sent what supposedly was lumia 900 footage, and then 803 which changed its name to 808 in the youtube title. I dunno, some people like to pretend. It could be real but I’ll edge on the side of no, as there’s one sure way to show it’s from the N8 successor and they didn’t do that.

Might Nokia Carla have dual core or is that for Donna? We’ve all that to find out at MWC 🙂 I’ll leave all the speculation to you guys, perhaps it might ease some more teasers out of those people in the know :).
