Randoms: Interesting Widget or Carla?
This is nothing really, just some random musings as I can’t sleep. In a video looking at monetizing apps with Nokia, there was a screen showing what looked like a homescreen with widgets. But then an ad appeared. So this must be an app? (plus no homescreen dots visible). But since when were menu, call button and options/settings (toolbar visible at homescreen view) visible when looking at apps? I can’t look at the video again to check as it has been removed. Maybe Carla? For menu buttonless Symbian? But the ‘operator’ sign only appears in homescreen. Are we getting adverts in the homescreen :S?

It may be just a minor mistake, such as the Nokia 600 (not even making it to market) demoing the Nokia Store video :S Most likely it’s nothing, just wishful thinking at 4am. My Weather Man is not an actual app so this is most likely just for demo purposes of the incoming ads.

Yeah I’m good thanks for asking. Hectic day on Friday so ended up napping when I got back so it disrupted my normal time to sleep.

i don’t really think carla will have drastic ui changes,
what i think is the better integration qt will be made so that wp7 apps wud get easily ported into symbian.

I concur. It looks like the text overlaps at the bottom.
Sorry, text is overlapping the bottom because an advert was moving from the bottom up so it was caught mid animation.

This came from an official nokia video that got removed as it seems it was too early for publishing. There is no other place at Nokia confirming the >!3 million daily downloads.
This is not made up by some random user. How the hell is that comparable to you posting a picture of iOS on your C7?
Your comment is a fail. Your comprehension is a fail as I also said I posted this rather early in the morning and this post probably didn’t mean anything. You see the title at the top? Nokia blog. Random and informal. This topic was me thinking about something related to Nokia.

hy, everybody is nervous, well 27 is coming soon and now we now what is happing in nokias`land, or in mind of our men Flop, WP doesent sale and his plain are going down, now Symbian are coming back and maemo too, they are goods, (not burning?)and somebody saw his studip acts in fev 11,because the new OS doesent are complete or nothing in hands, in the big day 11 fev

If you took the time to read the post, you would read the combination of reasons why I wrote this. I’m sorry if it does not meet your very high standards. I post what ever I feel like about Nokia, this is one of those posts. If it’s not to your liking, perhaps you can go else where where your standards are met. I do this for fun because I enjoy writing about Nokia.
