    • Shriek

I can hear it echoing Ecosystemm

    • Jay Montano

I know hence the ….”next” comment. I don’t want to hear about the 900 today.

Ya true, they could at least announce a great imaging phone, be it a WP7 phone

  • stylinred

ugh…. i thought they’d be starting this thing with a bang instead of a fizzle

    oooh Lumia in China -_-

    • migo

That’s a big deal. China is a huge market.

  • Hoi

We want to hear country’s and times

  • I am sold; but only if it would be upgradeable to Windows phone 8. I don’t want to buy it and then know the next quarter that there’s a better OS and my phone doesn’t/can’t have it.

    • migo

Given the specs Windows 8 is capable of running with, the only thing that might be in question is if the 610 can get upgraded to Windows Phone 8.

Surprised to see your reaction Jay, this is very important news! In particular the China CDMA/WCDMA part!! FANTASTIC! Nokia is on a roll again!

    • Jay Montano

Sorry, yes it was quite significant. I’m not sure how significant Nokia’s part will be in bringing WP to China. It sounded like they would be doing most of it, which sounds incredible for Nokia.

I guess I just wanted to see new devices. MWC was about showing off. We didn’t see Android like specs, but Nokia did certainly blow everyone away in the camera department. There’s just no way to take in 41mp in a phone. haha.

Im curious as to the specs of the international version of the Lumia 900. Would love to be able to have it run on T-Mobile here in the US.

    …have the lumia 800 & 900 the same bad camera?:\

    • DesR85

Same camera? Yes. Bad? Depends. The Lumia 800 camera did take good pictures in sunlight but indoors, the images do look noisy and a bit blurry even with decent lighting. I can attest to that because I own one myself. Mostly the fault of its camera software but an update is in the works.

Hopefully the camera software for the 900 will be sorted out by the time it is released. I’d be disappointed if it wasn’t.

Just saw this listed at the Nokia Malaysia site alongside the 610 today:

Haven’t mentioned the release date for those phones, though.
