Incredible Panorama with Nokia 808 PureView – insane detail again.

Check this out: It’s a super cool panorama by the Nokia 808 PureView.  It’s an interactive panorama allowing you to pan and zoom the image. The detail is insane as usual. The fused image was apparently so large the flash file had to be reduced so on the real sized images, you’d see things of even greater detail. A little like this post; http://mynokiablog.com/2012/04/02/wow-nokia-808-pureview-sample-pictures-from-china-crazy-detail/.

The panos have been previously done with a DSLR. How do you think the 808 stacks up? 🙂

The panorama from the pier is based on nine images taken with mobile phone! With the ability to keep as many pixels per frame is made very large images it is possible to zoom in on the screen.

It collects information on the image sensor than the eye can see. In fact, the fused image so large that we had to reduce it before we made the flash file you look at the top of the article.

Again, no amount of fancy burst shot mode is going to get photos this good.

Cheers @thorkenneth for the tip!
