Weekend Read: Nokia’s SmartStart support program for Lumia

| May 26, 2012 | 2 Replies

WPCentral did a piece yesterday about something called Nokia SmartStart – something to help customers get support with their Nokia Lumia should they need it. This includes getting phone assistance that’s free scheduled by the Lumia owner.

An app is supposedly coming in about 4 weeks to book these one on one appointments.

Not everyone will need this service, but for those that do, this will be invaluable. Another great way to look after customers.

Cheers all for the tip!

    This is a great idea.

I hope the margins are enough to cover the costs. Apple’s margins for sure. I dont think A Inc would be teady to setup such service.

Do you know if it is US only?

If I remember correctly, it was also in or coming to Canada and Mexico as well – with eventual plans to learn and then possibly take it elsewhere as well.

I concur, this is a fabulous idea. The crowd at WPCentral who have tried it were praising it.
