Nokia China: Nokia 808 PureView with Free tripod and USB charger
A few days ago we heard about the Nokia 808 PureView in China coming with a free tripod and USB holder. My translator wasn’t working so I wasn’t able to confirm at the time. It still doesn’t so I’m hoping someone out there can add further confirmation to this.

are you kidding me, what that guy is talking about is true…but that is financial institutions, not companies like Nokia, who if they loose huge amounts of money, they don’t pay their CEO’s more, they simply fire the CEO and appoint someone else.
Manufacturers do not get government bailouts like banks do!
.. apparently banks are “too big to fail”.. how can one even argue with such a statement.

Very good NOKIA! Giving away a free tripod makes sense…ppl that are going to buy the nokia 808 will be in ther 30s and will only be buying it coz of the camera,they should give this as standard to everyone that buys the 808 anyware in the world. well done nokia!! ( and using a tripod makes a hell of a diffrence when taking pics & recording).
Do you know which operators will offer it? That is the one of the most crucial things.
Nokia can you be kinder and let me buy the tripod instead and get a free Pureview 808?

A nice promotion. And great to see them producing a tripod for the phone, it was of course publicized earlier already, but good to see it come into fruition.
China Nokia is doing a good job launching 808 in line with the others. Nokia Hongkong is what a freaking asshole holding back 808 for sake of potential adverse effect on the newly launched Lumia 900. What a bloody foolish jerk dont you know the clientbase of the two handsets are mutually exclusive?! i wont be buying 900 because you hold back 808!
does it come with dual-sim?
On navifirm there have been Chinese Fw out for 808 a little time now,maybe released there first??
