Cheers Manu for the tip!
asha 311,305 and 306 available in indonesia. The price of asha 311 is +-$130 and price for 305 is $90, 306 $96
Very affordable price. Hope to see some more price drop as usually Nokia do with every phone.
Thatr a great price. Almost killer. And 311 priced @ rs. 5500-5800 , will sell great.
Where did you found that price for Asha 311. Nokia Conversation mentions $121 which mean, 6600 aprox.
I would expect the 311 to be priced between Rs 7000-7500 & the 306 at around 5500..
7000-7500 pricing will be bit too much optimistic from the side of nokia especially considering mad craze for android devices in developing nations like india.
yup very true 7000 Rs will be a non seller for s40..!
especially Samsung Galaxy phones are available from Rs 6100
other Android phones are available from Rs 4000 from Indian manufactures like Micromax and Spice
@Ebon & Unicorn N9s, hi friend, sorry for off topic but I want to confirm one thing from you. I m getting white N9 64GB version @ INR 28k without warranty, shall i go for it?
From where?? If the seller is a credible one, go for it.. The price is very good.
My black N9 is from UAE & the white one from Finland and I’m in SA. Both of them haven’t given any issues yet (touch-wood) and are going well.

Glad to see Indian (?) readers find the prices reasonable. Many times in the past there seemed to be at least a perception Nokia overpriced in India.
Yes they overprice virtually every device at the launch time and eventually after 15-60 days they drop price. So some user feels betrayed. And I think it’s only reason they are loosing customers faith.
Anyway this time I’m sure the price is very reasonable.
The overpricing for Nokia’s “early adopter tax” and for recouping the initial marketing spend. They can’t utilize that anymore.
Don’t all brands do that?
Not universally. Most others only do it with their high end models.
Really? Have not really looked but I would have guess most if not all manufacturers would try to squeeze a few more dollars from any new model in the first few weeks.. In a lower end model the difference in initial price and the price after a couple of months is of course proportionally smaller.
But, as I said I have not really looked and you might be right.
Mark is right, Also their low end mobiles are already priced reasonable so there is no chance of that much money. But considering as emerging market all Nokia’s low end phones are overpriced.
this is called skimming pricing policy…
It’s available in Singapore and retails for about $135 in retail shops. Cheaper than Asha 300
Is that with or without taxes? The 300 currently sells for about €75 w/o taxes in Finland. The 305 probably will not be available here officially .
Wow these devices are looking awesome and gonna be sold like hot cakes,
They have swipe.
Well, in a broad definition of swipe all touch screen phones have it. The swipe gestures in the Ashas are nothing special in that regard,AFAIK.
Pretty good pricing !!
Indeed, prices on these new Asha are very low. I’m going to get one just to fiddle with it.
