Leaked? Nokia Asha 308/309 around the corner?
aikon171 has outed several upcoming Nokias before and another sighting is of the Nokia Asha 308/309.
Product info can be seen above as well as a couple of photos.
This is either a case to hide the handset or it has a very thick, rugged design.

Cheers aikon171 for the tip

in the pic, nokia 808 pureview?
Good. Nokia needs to roll out a few more S40 Touch models and, more importantly, get them out into the markets and carriers and retailers quickly. Nokia’s low end is arguably their biggest challenge right now with the Android onslaught there.
now there are enough phone in asha line up why cant they launch a belle device at this price point
I believe Nokia has plans to release windows phones in the 5xx range.
Actually It needs to be Capacitive S40 touch models …
It was already “official” leaked weeks ago via Indonesian accreditation body.

Nokia 309, Type: RM-843
Nokia 3090 is the Asian equivalent.
The phone on the photo looks like cased in a simple rubber shell.

Couldn’t make it out from the picture, I wonder if 308/309 are the same phone – other just dual and other single-SIM?
3090 is China, right? China models get the 0 end. Or is it wider use in Asia?
So, looking closer, 309 has WLAN and 308 does not. That would hint 308 is dual-SIM and 309 is single-SIM? If I recall WLAN and dual-SIM have been kind of mutually exclusive in many Nokias?
In the pic the phone and screen seem quite large – hopefully true, and that the resolution is pumped up to Symbian reso.
Considering this is 308/309, aka a smaller number than 311, I’d expect the specs to be lower than those? Or can such a deduction be made?
Nope.I think 308/309 are more developed 305/306 with smoother Asha Touch UI and higher resolution
im waiting for the bluetooth headset, bh-907. i have a feeling its gonna be good.
