Lumiappaday #277: Asphalt 5 demoed on the Nokia Lumia 900 #XboxLive

| August 19, 2012 | 16 Replies

This is just a demo of the game, Asphalt 5 on the Nokia Lumia 900. Not too keen on the accelerometer controls. I find them much too laggy in comparison to NFS (well underground anyway). Tap controls are much more responsive.

#277) Asphalt 5

This game is so old. I hope the Asphalt developers start bringing their latest games to WP instead of giving us this. Even symbian has Asphalt 6 -_-

  2. Andy says:

This game for the official belle devices is free.and it’s full version.wp sucks, the apps are all over price.

  3. art_vaider says:

Asphalt 7 is already available for iOs and Android !
3 years old Asphalt 5 for WP7 is epic fail :-D

    • Tech says:

I hate to say but it’s true, WP user just got the 3years Old game when iPhone/Ipad and Android user has play the new awesome game even belle user got Asphalt 6 Official -______-

    • Just Visiting says:

At the end of the day, this game is not a top tiered game, not even version 6! There are plenty of XBox Live games for WP that more than make up for some Asphalt# game.

Much better gaming variety, and quantity, for WP than Symbian will ever have! I can’t wait to dump this N8 for a Nokia WP8 device.

      • John says:

How is it not a top tiered game? (especially Version 6)
“Much better” gaming variety & quantity? You sure about that.
MS is the odd man out when it comes to gaming API’s…
They’re still trying to push theirs down everyone’s throat, whereas almost everyone has already moved on & embraced OpenGL.

  4. Tech says:

I think Microsoft need to Put much of their money for developer to port awesome games on WP :)

  5. efloped says:

This game was released in January 2011 for S^3 devices, and even then it was considered old.
The worst thing is seeing the “copyright 2012″ on the splash screen of the Lumia version! More like “copyright 2009″!
