    Awkward turtle is awkward

Seriously, Nokia’s getting worse. Worse than the shouting guy.

Elop sounds the best today -.-

  2. chfyfx says:

his presentation sucks. so much innovation, so little presentation

    • migo says:

Who cares? Really. It’s about the device. If they put all their effort into innovation, and none into presentation, as long as the info gets out so we know what we need to know about the hardware, that’s the best scenario.

  3. Andy says:

Nokia lumia 820 design isn’t very nice

  4. KF says:

finaly something less than 12mm thick from nokia :P

  5. Carbontubby says:

Oh well, no Qwerty flagship, bye bye Nokia :( I think I will wait for Jolla to come up with the successor to the N900 and E7.

  6. noki says:

glossy is lame make something that looked premium look cheep

  7. XFCE-DESKTOP says:

I want the black girl that’s on the phone screen :D DDDD

  8. hector says:

no LED notification, no buy. Small things somethimes means a lot. Hope Jolla will not dissapoint. But WP8 looks great.

    • Shaun says:

Seems unlikely Jolla would add LED notification since that same team took it out of Maemo between the N900 and N9.

Anyway, LED notification seems pointless when you’ve got the low power AMOLED screen showing icons for what kind of notification you’ve missed.

  9. KF says:

WVGA on an 8XX??? again wasted space at the bottom, heavy, small battery. seriously nokia it’s f*cking 2012 not 2010 anymore. the only good thing is it’s 9.9mm thick and dual core krait. other than that nothing special for their 2nd flagship

    • noki says:

I suppose its not AMOLED so no pentile so a small improvement there, but given that the screen is larger I suppose its the same overall experience as the 800, way worse than the competition

  10. vuvukaka says:

820 was the leaked black windows phone 8 before without the shell ;)

Ok ;) )) that was cool,
    Different shells! ;)

More color, more fun! :) )

  11. Valmon says:

Do any of the new phones have HDMI ports?

(Sorry if I missed this somewhere.)

  12. noki says:

800 x 480 screen def??? really, ooo Nokia just give up

  13. Rinslowe says:

It’s interesting seeing what people are writing….

Nokia has a way to go when it comes to things like presentations in comparison to some of the competition, but they have come a long way since a few years back as well.

Now they show that intelligent combinations of software and hardware innovations together with solid tech, is much much smarter than just plopping in the latest this and greatest that…

Lets not even mention the design vs others… no brainer there, all the way from N9 – 920 and everywhere in between these phones are just straight up gorgeous people!

And since when is 800 x 480 resolution a bad thing, call it thrifty, average or cost effective but certainly not worth giving up for. I quite like my 854×480 N9 screen, it’s far from a shabby experience…

    LOL

    • noki says:

first the N9 that I love BTW is not really 854×480 the screen is pentile so its more like 640×480, I also have an n950 and the difference in text readability is huge, amoled display on the other end makes colors “pop” much more….
but HD Amoled screens are way way better.

      • John says:

I own N9 & N950 & the only area I really notice the fraying is for smaller txt, especially certain txt/background colour combos.
Larger txt it’s barely noticeable, & then there’s other usage patterns for which there’s zero issues compared to the N950, arguably better in fact.
