Weekend LOL: Hitler finds out about iPhone 5 (Wants the Lumia 920)

It’s a slowly growing trend that folks seem to be waking up from the slight spell of the wondrous iThing. It’s a great device, don’t get me wrong. But when you have a product like the Nokia Lumia 920 that offers something new to the table, well you just have to ask yourself what on earth is Apple doing with their hundreds of billions.

This video takes the long (and what we thought was long dead) meme of ‘Hitler finds out’, a clip from a 2004 film,  Der Untergang, where the subtitles reflect a currently popular topic. This one shows the disappointment in the new iPhone. There’s been a lot of news about how the iPhone 5 could boost the US’ GDP single handedly so there might be some interest to keep making the stale milking factory as popular as ever.

Below, Hitler is infuriated about the new iPhone not having anything new. He’s angry at Nokia, some random company (perhaps not aware of their history), coming in and walking all over them (well, on paper at least. We know that’s not how sales work. Especially against reality distortion fields). Samsung’s return hit at Apple is also mentioned (they warned they would sue Apple the moment they put a LTE device on the market – what about the US iPad 3?) Lumia copycat iPods also get a mention. Hitler worries what will happen should Nokia get a tablet to market.

BTW: Warning – some swearing involved in the subtitles.

Cheers to Muerte for the tip!
