Nokia Reading Updated, Brings Import eBooks Feature and News Stream

Nokia Reading for Lumia devices has apparently received a hefty update bringing a set of much requested features, mainly the ability to side-load eBooks from skydrive (Epub & PDF) as long as the e-book is DRM free. The other new feature is a “news Stream” which is an integrated RSS reader into the app itself, allowing you to browse news and content sources. Personally I haven’t received the update yet (current version is 1.2), even after trying to force the update; has anyone else had any luck getting the update? If so let us know what you think, (and your location please).

hwowowww
Finally I am able to have this app!! I’m in Ireland, I think this has only now been made available to us in Ireland. So happy. Though I can’t see any sort of store to get books in the app….
wow that is more than cool @ali
It doesn’t work in Spain, yet. :/
Shouldn’t Spaniards be worrying about how to buy food rather than a book reading app? Do they even sell smartphones there?
Finally able to download it in the Malaysian Marketplace. Wasn’t expecting it at all since it was locked out when it was first released back in May.
Got it in Austria today.
This is the first available version here.
The SkyDrive sideload works as promised. No problems so far.
Cheers!
How protected are data there? Who could have unauthorised access? Do rumours that all data there are examined by secret or not services on basis of Patriot Act and ACTA? Where are servers and what law, what jurisdiction is applied, hence how different citizens are treated when using skydrive?
Now also available.
How do you access a bookstore also?
