Weekend Watch: Symbian Xeon^4 Based on Belle Refresh on Nokia N8
In this video we see an update to the Xeon^4 custom firmware theme on Belle Refresh for Nokia N8. It’s looking rather slick, no? The animations aren’t so jarring and nausea inducing as previous custom firmwares have been (the ones with randomly spinning screens?!)

So, here’s a question. How does it handle texting? Because right now, my N8 with Belle slows down whenever a text comes in or goes out for close to 30 seconds, to the point it’s unusable. Does this happen with Xeon on an N8?
Strange – that doesn’t happen on my N8. (I just have Symbian Belle on it.)

The CFW looks pretty damn good though, I just wish the transition between the main screen wouldn’t stutter, everything else is butter smooth.
It’s annoying that he is holding it so close to the camera though and using the monitor as a background wasn’t a good move either.
how can i make the lock screen as in 808 fp2?
purHase SlideUnlock from the Nokia Store. It’s moreof a WP7.5/N9 style, where the 808 learned it anyway.

anyone knows how this compares to “the one” for n8? i used delight belle for a long time but sadly no more updates for that cfw
