Lumia 800 on “Cuckoo” (BBC) and “Hawaii Five-0″
Just been watching some TV and it looking like BBC have decided to feature the Cyan Lumia 800 on the new show “Cuckoo” (featuring Hollywood stalwart Andy Samberg and British comedy giant Greg Davies).
On top of this, the new season of Hawaii Five-0 seems to have given some of the cast a Nokia Lumia 800, and the others a Nokia Lumia 900 and so far they have been featured in all 3 episodes so far of season 3:
Not sure why, but for some reason they have stuck a case on it which hides the Nokia logo etc…why have they done this???

Humm, below, she seems to be still in the menu rather then actually on a call!
not sure why again, but looks like they photoshopped the image onto the screen (the image on the Lumia 900 below is bigger then the screen is!!!)
Looks like the Lumia 900 went for a swim 
…..don’t worry though, seems like they have loads of them!!!

Wow! that’s alot of screentime; Lumias are popping up in shiws all over since the seasons restarted two weeks ago. on a slightly related topic I watched Taken 2 yesterday, which if anyone had seen taken 1 would know ti featured a decent amount of screen time for the N73 as well as a couple other Nokias:

and again black it is… :S.. does the shows force the black(anonymous) color? or is nokia stupid enough to not send blue/red/yellow :S
The reason the case is on the device is because of the carrier logo – AT&T. Product placement is one thing, but NO ONE is going to give free advertising to the carriers unless the carriers pay for it. Although, it is a given that the phone is on ATT since they are the only carrier in the U.S. that carriers the Lumia 900
Thankfully, the device is distinctive enough to where people can identify it as a Lumia (side buttons, camera strip); in fact, it may be those two aspects that may pique the interest of viewers to seek out the device.
I saw Jessica Wiliams fromdaily show holding a cyan lumia 900 when she interviewed someone in an episode in September. It looked like her actual phone more than a product placement.
Embarrassing that I watched it, but Hollyoaks must have some Nokia sponsorship going on. A Lumia 800, an E7 and some various other Lumia looking devices that I couldn’t quite make out.
Did anyone spot a white lumia 900? on Homeland series 2 episode 3? Approx 12minutes in and you see one of the main characters talking on this

I was thought is 920 just like you,but 920 it doesn’t release yet,How could be on the TV show?..
