Video: Nokia Lumia 920 Optical Image Stabilisation, car demo – is it real?

| October 16, 2012 | 14 Replies

Tipper abc shared this video with us this afternoon of what is supposedly a Nokia Lumia 920 OIS demo vs I’m not quite sure what.

On the right is a rather stable video set up whilst the left is super shaky. Towards the end of the video it seems that it is definitely somewhat Lumia related due to the Lumia branding.

Now you’re in doubt as well after the incident during the introduction of Lumia 920?

Well, Jay, it might be real, it might be fake.

We really have to wait until the 920 hit the streets before we can draw any conclusions about the quality of the camera, the screen, well, about the complete phone.

So many times we’ve seen prototypes showing quality stuff (HTC One X and his camera, for example) but when the retail version is in the hands of people who know how to test them the results are often a big disappointment.

Let’s hope Nokia make no mistakes and I think that they must put the 920 into the market with a price lower than the Galaxy SIII, otherwise they have no change.

More reason to why Nokia L920 is #1(beats iPhone5) in France and Italy.

We found this video yesterday also but it seems that it’s private now… maybe Nokia asked to remove it?

So we can say goodbye to shaky in-car videos on Youtube? That’s definitely a good thing :) As long as some idiot doesn’t try to hit 300 km/h on an autobahn while filming the speedo with one hand…

N9 is the best. 900, 800, and 920 are copy of N9. Suckers
