Video: Nokia Lumia 820 WP8 demo and sensitivity test vs iPhone 5.
A couple of Nokia Lumia 820 videos this time. We can see a short demo of WP8 as well as a screen sensitivity test.
I’ve just been trying on some gloves (for halloween costume, but more likely to be using one when winter comes) and got annoyed a bit that I couldn’t use the screen on my phone.
Notice in the screen sensitivity demo, the 820 performs as if there are no gloves. Pinch and zoom all still fine. Swiping with feather light touch all fine. This is something were it on an Apple device we would hear about non stop. It would be the next big thing which everyone would want. As it is from Nokia, I don’t think anyone will even know it’s there because they’re marketing peeps need to go back to pre-school.

come on nokia bring an HD screen version of L820.

HW looks nice, but meegoish swipes do not make the whole system a good one. I’d like this with MeeGo, not with MeeGo elements only. Looks good.
Wait for Jolla. Meego is dead at Nokia.
So painfully true…
Nokia absolutely needs to start singing their own praises, until it’s second nature. And learn to use marketing as a way to add a little sparkle to things consumers take for granted, even now with existing devices.
It’s hard not to comment on this topic after reading…
